Dental Staff

Dr. Farrokhrooz is a 2001 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. After practicing for 8 years in the New York, New Jersey, and Maryland area, he moved to Florida in 2008. He has a certificate in implant dentistry from NYU and is also a provider for Invisalign. Dr. Farrokhrooz has completed extensive continuing education courses in cosmetic, general dentistry, TMJ disorders, and short term orthodontics. Dr. Farrokhrooz is a certified provider of Lumineers and Snap-on Smile. He believes in the philosophy of treating all the patients as if they were a member of his own family. He is a member of ADA, FDA, and The Academy of General Dentistry.

Cathy greets every patient with her warm personality and enthusiastic nature. You’ll always be in competent hands as she brings over 15 years of dental office management and insurance coordination experience to the office. Cathy’s comprehensive knowledge of insurance allows her to help patients maximize their benefits and understand the specifics of their individual plan. Cathy was born in Illinois and raised here in Brandon FL. She is married to her amazing husband in which they share 5 kids. In their free time they are very busy with various family activities ranging from college football games to visiting Army and Air Force Bases and spending time with their granddaughter.  A family of five keeps them on their toes.

Teri is the most familiar face here at Gentle Dental. She has been at this office for 15 years. As a scheduling coordinator she helps to ensure that all our patients receive the highest levels of customer service when it comes to appointment scheduling, financial arrangements, and other business related issues. Her thirty six years of experience in the dental field allows her to be so Calming and intuitive, she has a way of making every patient feel relaxed and at ease while on the phone or in the office.  Teri is from Washington Court House, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1996.  Teri and her husband love to spend their free time motorcycling and gardening.  Teri also has two sons and two grandsons whom she loves spending time with. She also enjoys walking her fur baby, Dolly. She is an avid supporter of The Ohio State Buckeyes and Water Smart Tots.
